On 26th January 2026, Kartavyya organised with fellow people a community clean-up drive at Gaurav Tower (GT), one of Jaipur's busiest shopping destinations. While thousands visit GT every day, keeping it clean is a shared responsibility—not just that of the authorities. Our volunteers came together to remove litter, spread awareness and remind visitors that every wrapper thrown responsibly and every piece of waste picked up is an act of respect towards our city. A cleaner Jaipur reflects responsible citizens. Let's not just celebrate our country. Let's care for it, one street at a time. 🇮🇳💚

Jal Mahal - the jewel of Jaipur. A timeless symbol floating on the Man Sagar Lake, admired by thousands of tourists every day. Cameras flash, laughter echoes, and memories are made. Kartavyya team joined hands with the Jaipur Hiking Community for a clean-up drive at the beautiful Saan Valley in Natata Village, Kukas. This place, hidden in the Aravalli hills, is quickly becoming popular among hikers and nature lovers because of its peaceful trails and stunning views. Our teams took the forest route to the top, enjoying the fresh air, landscape views, and green surroundings. But along the way, we saw something that didn't belong—plastic bottles, plates, wrappers, and extreme waste, especially near the Hanuman Ji Temple. These were likely left behind after recent religious gatherings. Keeping our vision intact "Karoge jitna, saaf hoga utna", with gloves and garbage bags in hand, we picked up the litter, making sure to leave the trail cleaner than we found it. At the top, we rested on the rocks, sharing snacks and conversations while soaking in the beautiful view. The peaceful moment reminded us why it's so important to protect places like this Kartavyya team believes that clean mountains are happy mountains. Through these treks, we're not only exploring nature but also teaching people to care for it. We request everyone—travelers, locals, and devotees—to please take their waste back with them and help keep our trails clean. Central Park is often called the heart of Jaipur, a space where thousands walk, exercise, and connect with nature every day. Over time, however, this vibrant public space began to lose its charm under the weight of plastic bottles, wrappers, and litter scattered across its lawns and pathways. Determined to restore its beauty, we launched a four-week series of cleanliness drives with a clear goal: to make Central Park completely garbage-free. With a passionate team of 30+ volunteers, we collected and lifted more than 200 kilograms of waste, much of it single-use plastic. Each weekend, volunteers came together with gloves, bags, and an unwavering sense of purpose — cleaning, segregating, and spreading awareness among park visitors about responsible waste disposal. Our Central Park initiative is a step toward a plastic-free and responsible Jaipur, and we hope it motivates many more to take ownership of the spaces they love. Because when we care for our city, we care for our future. 🌿

With breathtaking views and scenic trekking routes, it's no surprise that thousands flock here every weekend to find peace, beauty, and adventure. This mindset is the real trash. Sagar Lake is drowning - not in water, but in our negligence. Team Kartavyya couldn't turn a blind eye. We saw what was happening and decided to act. With passion, purpose, and people-power, we launched a clean-up mission. Volunteers rolled up their sleeves, carried out bags of waste, and restored dignity to this once-pristine site.

Once a government office, now a peaceful retreat and a hidden gem for nature lovers in Jaipur, the Twin Tower Trek is slowly being buried under heaps of garbage. What used to be a soul-refreshing hike now greets visitors with plastic wrappers, beer bottles, tissue piles, and burnt trash — instead of chirping birds and fresh air. At Kartavyya, we've cleaned this trail four times. Every time we return, we hope to see a change. But the garbage returns faster than the greenery can grow back. This isn't just about cleaning up trash — it's about cleaning up a mindset. We don't wear capes. We wear gloves. We don't wait for someone else to act — we show up. The 11th cleanliness drive took us on a meaningful journey from Jaipur to the holy town of Vrindavan. This drive was not just about cleaning a place, but about doing seva in a land filled with devotion, faith, and spiritual energy. The drive was organized in association with the Vrindavan Seva Project and focused on areas near the sacred Banke Bihari Temple, where thousands of devotees visit every day. With folded hands and a strong sense of responsibility, volunteers came together to serve the land of Shri Krishna. During the drive, we collected and cleared more than <strong>300+ kg of garbage</strong>, helping restore cleanliness and dignity to the surroundings.

Once a symbol of architectural brilliance and community life, this ancient stepwell had faded into neglect, buried under years of garbage. Where most saw a forgotten ruin, the Kartavyya Team saw a call to action. In collaboration with Baori Baissa, Finiloop, and the Virasat Foundation, we returned to this site not once but twice — two drives, two different groups of volunteers, two waves of energy, all united by the same mission: to revive the lost soul of this heritage site. rooms in hand and hope in hearts, we cleared the waste, uncovered the beauty, and gave Juthan Ki Baori a second chance to breathe — proof that lasting change here isn't a one-day effort, but an ongoing commitment. This wasn't just a cleanup. It was a movement — a message to the community: "Please don't treat this historic stepwell as a dustbin. Let's preserve its beauty and legacy. We humbly urge our respected Parshad ji and local leaders to recognize the importance of this site — not just as a monument, but as a living, breathing symbol of Jaipur's cultural identity. Early morning in Jaipur, as the city slowly stirred to life, a group of determined volunteers laced up their shoes—not just for a trek, but for a purpose. Led by the Kartavvya Team, our mission combined spirituality, environmental responsibility, and collective action in a trekking clean-up drive from Garh Ganesh to Hatni Kund. Our journey began at the sacred Garh Ganesh Temple, where we offered our prayers and grounded ourselves in gratitude and purpose. With hearts full of devotion, we took our first steps toward Charan Mandir, following the same age-old trails walked by pilgrims and nature lovers alike. From Charan Mandir, we ascended further into the serene natural landscape that leads to the beautiful and lesser-known Hatni Kund. Along the way, we witnessed the stark contrast—breathtaking views on one side, and plastic waste and litter marring nature's beauty on the other. That's when our mission came alive. Equipped with gloves, bags, and unwavering willpower, we began cleaning the path—picking up plastic wrappers, bottles, cans, and other waste discarded carelessly. It wasn't just physical cleaning; it was a spiritual cleansing of spaces that hold cultural and ecological importance. After reaching Hatni Kund and soaking in its peaceful energy, we began our return. But we didn't stop there. On the way back, we took an alternate scenic route from Charan Mandir to the iconic TV Tower, continuing our clean-up efforts along the way, before finally descending back to Garh Ganesh. This was more than a trek—it was a symbolic journey of Kartavvya (duty): duty to our temples and trails, duty to the forests and wildlife, duty to future generations. We believe that faith and nature go hand in hand, and it's our responsibility to preserve both. 🏁 Impact of the Drive: Cleaned trekking trail from Garh Ganesh → Charan Mandir → Hatni Kund. Return route clean-up via TV Tower. Collected bags of plastic waste, alcohol bottles, and non-biodegradable litter. Spread awareness among fellow trekkers and temple visitors.
